The Final To Do List

Over the past two years of planning, replanning, starting again, then more planning, I've google more and made more to do lists than i have ever had to to before, ever. And I'm a lister. And now it feels as if it's time for one more list - goal finish date; OCTOBER 20th 2012

I've got the rest of this week and next to do my bit, then Peter Freeman (my builder from Lydhurst Building Services) is rocking up back on the scene to do complicated things, heavy lifting, electrical and plumbing installations, light fittings, skirting boards... etc etc.

So, the list i've got going so far:

- Paint outside of house
- Second coat on back room
- paint bathrooms, ceilings and cornices
- wall and floor tiling in both bathrooms.
- reticulation
- garden planting
- install kitchen bench tops
- find a ceiling suspended shower curtain rail
- install speaker cable for outdoor speakers
- take the old kitchen out of the front bedroom and make it into a laundry, in the laundry.
- repaint new bedroom
- finish AC installation
- get chippy in to install vanities
- get other chippy to construct outdoor AC covers
- reinstall the gate i ripped out to the end of the paved driveway.
- move the washing line.
- install washing machine into outdoor laundry
- outdoor light fittings
- laundry light fittings
- hallway light fittings
- collect, measure up and varnish the kitchen benchtops
- find a big outdoor umbrella thats super cute
- paint outdoor laundry
- finish off, launch and market my online printing company's website.
- stop searching for things on pinterest.
- loose 8 kgs.
- get a manicure. asap.
- start collecting copper pots..
- install furniture from my friends shed where i've been storing it, into the house
- find a place for the outdoor fairy lights i ordered from restoration hardware. Ohhh maybe outside laundry.
- err unpack everything from the ex-house into the new house. hahaha.
- water blast outside of front (old) part of house
- sugar soap the car-port
- organise bathroom mirrors
- organise shower screen
- get the baby room ready for baby j's January arrival
- re-polish floors.
