Random pictures of the nearly finished house!

Nothing makes sense anymore... sometimes ten things happen, next three days nothing happens. Lot's of mistakes seem to be happening now.. Taps were installed in the wrong place, vanities didn't fit, power points not really how i imagined they would be, oh - and power points behind cabinets that the installer installed before they were 'ready'.. Anyway, trying hard not to be too stressed out about it but it's honestly been the most stressful time of the whole process.

Woo hoo! My french door handles are finally on now that the doors are varnished.

View in the back yard from the extension room. Bit messy, actually.. Looks prettier in real life.

The extension room currently store for everything from the rest of the house while the floor polish stuff dries properly in the front rooms.

During the build, various trades decided my herb garden was the place to dump stuff... So it all had to be ripped out - new soil in. A few things i'd planted before had gone mad, so kinda needed to happen too (mint, passionfruit- everywhere).. Now there is basil, mint (in pot), thyme, chilli, coriander, lemon grass, parsley and my huge bourganvillea (new job for the list, train the creepers)

One skip out going - FULL of building stuff. Boxes from appliances and empty paint pots.

Finished corner of house - view down the side to the rose bush - all painted. Laundry on the painting list next. It's been cladded with pre-primed weather boards so only needs two coats of paint and all done :) SO much easier in theory, they are a pain to paint.

My little back courtyard!
