Paint fumes & mint roots

So much for an uber-productive weekend spent painting all day. So many other little jobs and outings popping up all the time keep the building going at the lah-di-dah rate it's never progressed past, despite my efforts to push things along faster.

A few major things have been finished or are nearly ticked off......

- pulled out everything in the herb garden that was - all needs replanting now
- cleaned, lots, and consistently.
- sold a few of the things i put on Gumtree from the old house, and added lots more

- bench tops all finally in and sink in place

- skirting boards starting to get bolted in...

- outside painting ticking along in 50% colonial beige from Solver (who know my trade account name by heart now, totally embarrassing).

And finally a light is switched off after sunset - making the house look particularly warm n cosy!! It's a home people!!

This week - its all gotta be done. Floor polishers come in on Monday August 22nd so my end needs to wrap up this week. Thats mainly:

- painting bathrooms
- painting new bedroom
- painting outside
- sanding and painting old skirting boards + windows + doors
- retic + planting the gardens (lots of ideas, not so many plants)

Week 2 of Interior Space Planning at Parsons NY starting tomorrow too - Keeping me busy, little cottage extension!
