Feels today as if all of my tiles are chipped - although only 3 actually are.
My perfect tiled splashback needs to have a few chipped tiles repaired - after the sink installed knocked some of the tiles during installation. Ive been doing some research about how to repair chipped tiles, and all of the options look like hard work.
I was hoping to buy some white nail varnish and use that - but apparently due to colour differences, that doesn't work too well.
As it's all been grouted now and a chipped tile repair already done - i can't rip out three tiles and replace.. Or maybe i should, i don't know :*(
According to askthebuilder.com, i will need: "will need a small amount of oil-based primer/sealer, high gloss oil paint that matches the color of the tile exactly and a syringe of two-part clear marine epoxy"
I wonder how many millions it's going to cost to fix this drama?
Probably not as much as sorting out the vanity tap crisis, but thats another story, that i'd rather forget!!
